The recruitment and retention of dedicated team members is a very important part of the stability and success of our homes. To assist with this, Epiphany Care offsets the costs by making a healthy contribution to the benefits that you choose1. For many there is no cost for benefits.

All plans are provided through a Section 125K Cafeteria Plan reducing the overall expense. Under this provision, your costs are paid for with pre-tax dollars reducing the amount removed from your salary structure before Federal Income, State Income, and Social Security taxes. This results in a lower taxable income, and higher net take home pay.

Epiphany Care offers insurances that are created to give our employees choices in planning their own healthcare needs. Medical insurance is provided by Blue Cross with a selection of HMO and PPO plans, dental and vision insurance from Golden West, as well as life insurance.

Epiphany Care encourages professional growth and provides all employees ongoing training opportunities such as: comprehensive new hire orientation, CPR/First Aid Certification, Medication Administration Certification4, and various monthly inservice training programs and seminars.

1- Rates are based on quoted rates as determined by Insurance company with the company’s contribution. Rates may vary due to particular plan chosen, age range, number of dependents as determined by the insurance company.
2- Plans as selected by the company. Additional plan choices are available including full comprehensive for you and your family.
3- Plans are voluntary and plan costs are paid by the employee.
4- Approved by Department of Developmental Services for specific use in our facilities. Transferability should be checked.

What if I have no experience?
Because we provide comprehensive training to all new employees, Epiphany Care Homes welcomes those individuals with little or no experience in the healthcare field. In fact, because of the training opportunities we provide, Epiphany Care Homes is the perfect place for those who are interested in beginning a career, ready to re-enter the workforce or just seeking a more rewarding way to earn a living.

What hours will I work?
Epiphany Care offers a variety of shifts and schedules. Whether you are a student working around your school schedule, a parent trying to work around your child’s school schedule or trying to supplement your income by seeking a second job, we probably have a schedule that fits your needs.

What about pay?
Wages are determined by many factors which may include prior experience, certifications and licenses held, length of service and job position. In addition to annual merit increases of up to 4%, all regular team members are eligible for attendance, and survey bonuses. Some positions are eligible for monthly and quarterly performance bonuses as well. More detailed information on wages can be discussed during the interview process.
